Who you are...
As the successful applicant, you will lead of a team
of Web Developers to support, design and create innovating
cutting-edge features for our Affiliate Network platform and other proprietary web
applications. You pride yourself on having great interpersonal skills with the
ability to talk in both layman and technical terms in order to meet your
objectives. You enjoy a dynamic, changing environment – with lots of
opportunity for innovation. This position will report to the Director of
Technology.
Key Accountabilities
·
Manage and lead a team in the design, development and implementation
of web applications
·
Work with the team to estimate project duration and resource
requirements
·
Manage day-to-day project activities
·
Create detailed project plans
·
Organize and conduct project meetings
·
Performance management activities
·
Responsible for the oversight of documentation for IT systems and
procedures.
·
Coordinate and manage functional, user acceptance and performance
testing
Required Skills and Experience
·
A proven track record of successful project implementation in a
software environment.
·
Experience with project management systems such as MS Project
·
Expert knowledge of standard Web Development practices
·
A general understanding of application programming, database and
system design.
·
Strong team leadership skills with an ability to foster
motivation within the team to meet tight deadlines
- Self-motivated, independent worker
with great communication and organizational skills
- Ability and enthusiasm to learn
quickly
·
Ability to identify opportunities for product improvement and
make constructive suggestions for change.
Preferred Skills and Experience
·
Bachelors degree in Business or Computer Science
·
Team leadership experience in a corporate organization
·
Software development experience
